Cropped view of female hands holding smart phone with blank screen for your text. Woman reading messages on cell phone with home interior background while resting in bed. Selective focus, film effect[/caption] I’m kind of a lady, but definitely more of a weirdo. Hearing the woman at the table behind him say that to her friend should’ve turned Logan Gibbs off. It doesn’t. In all honesty, it only makes him listen harder. He’s had enough weird in his life to last a lifetime. The last thing his complicated life needs is a woman in it who has no clue what color you get when you mix yellow and blue together. Yet, her obvious blonde moments aren’t enough to deter him. Nor is her lack of finger-painting skills. I’m a cop, not a miracle worker. Hearing the man in the group behind her say that should’ve had Katy Roberts running away as fast as her feet would carry her. Katy’s father’s a cop, and it’s hard enough to live her life with Daddy trying to dictate her every move. She needs another cop in her life like she needs yet another thing to go wrong. To add onto that, she can’t find a job, has no love life to speak of, and has to be the oldest known virgin in Kilgore, Texas. Yet, when she sees his painting—a painting that resembles a piece of the male anatomy more than the lighthouse they were supposed to be painting—she knows that she has to give him a chance. The very last thing the two of them expect is for her father and his boss to force them to marry after an eensy-weensy accident. An accident that, surprisingly, both of them want.

About THE LAST WINGMANJonah Kingston is the last wingman standing. June Moxee doesn’t care if he’s the last man on earth. I haven’t exactly avoided relationships, but love has never been a priority. Solitude doesn’t bother me and being alone doesn’t mean being lonely. Until she moved to the island and I had to reconsider everything. June seems content running her yarn shop, knitting with the local church ladies, and avoiding me. She’s a temptress in a handknit sweater. And for some reason, she’s not a fan of mine. It might be the tattoos. Or the beard. Or the fact that we’re polar opposites. A woman has finally caught my attention. Too bad she thinks she hates me. Good thing I’m stubborn enough to try to change her mind. The Last Wingman is the sixth standalone, lighthearted small town romance in the Wingmen series. Review:
I’m so sad that this it the last book in the Wingman Series, but it couldn’t have ended on a better book. It was full of all the usual cast members, lots of feels, and plenty of laughs. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Jonah. I loved everything about him. I loved him being a Potterhead, his love for vintage stuff and style, trivia, coffee, tattoos, his generosity… I loved it all. I could wax poetic about him this entire review. He was THAT good. June… I had to warm up to her. I loved her whimsicality, love of vintage style, ever-changing frames, trivia, and puns, but she was a little too judgmental of my boy at the beginning. I did end up loving her though because she and Jonah just fit. So, if you haven’t read the series yet, go back and start at the beginning. It has made me want to move to Whidbey Island, and I’m a born and bred Texan. You won’t be sorry! 5 Stars!

About DAISY PRESCOTT
Ghosts are real. Well, technically speaking, maybe not. But the ones that haunt a man’s soul? Those are very real. So real, in fact, that there are times when Castiel would rather silence them forever in the worst way possible than to go on living with them haunting his every step. All it took was one single second in time for his attention to drift, and everything changed. Life as he once knew it, is over. Now he’s struggling to make sense of the pieces that are left, and he’s fairly sure at least half of them are missing. He’s living for three things now. His club—the Bear Bottom Guardians. His work as a police officer for Bear Bottom Police Department. And the occasional glimpse of a girl that makes his spirit feel free. Despite the ghosts that haunt him, he’s not willing to present them with another target. Which is why he has to stay away from her. He can’t touch her. He can’t talk to her. He can’t get anywhere near her. Not and live with himself afterward. The only problem is, Turner doesn’t care what Castiel wants. She also has a solution for his ghosts. You may call her Ms. Ghostbuster.

You murder a man, and all of a sudden people are scared of you. Slate Solis went from being a guy that people went to in times of need to an ex-con that people crossed the street to avoid being too close to. He knows he’s done wrong, but out of all of his sins, only one really bothers him—coveting thy neighbor’s wife. Harleigh Belle—the cute little lady that never gives him a second glance. After seeing her for the first time while he was in prison, she’s stayed on his mind for three long years. Each time she comes in to visit with her friend on family day, he can’t help but stare. Then the day comes that he’s set free, and he’s almost disappointed that he’ll never see her again. Except fate has different plans. He hasn’t been back in his house for more than three hours when he sees her. Harleigh Belle in all her glory…oh, and her husband that is everything Slate isn’t. He tells himself that her being fifty feet away from him, all day every day, is a complete coincidence. One that he shouldn’t take advantage of. The more time passes, the harder it gets to stay away. Until one day, and one very ill-timed thunderstorm, ruin everything. Who knew that baby-making-weather was a real thing?

Zee + Annmarie and Tan + Jubilee. Forever. No exceptions. They were to have the picture-perfect life together. Everything was all planned out. Jubilee was to marry Eitan and Ezekiel was to marry Annmarie. That’s how it was always supposed to be from the moment that they met. Textbook, right? Wrong. Eitan and Annmarie die in a freak accident that never should have happened, leaving the two survivors reeling. Sixteen years later, Jubilee and Zee can’t even be in the same room with each other before things begin to deteriorate. Too many memories. Too much pain. Not enough forgiveness. They’re like hellfire and holy water, and neither one of them is willing to admit that they’re wrong. Then one day things change, and all of a sudden, they’re looking at each other like maybe they aren’t each other’s enemies after all.
