Title: Divine Choreography of Redemption: Setting the Eternal Saga in Time
Author: William E. Jefferson
Publisher: Hybrid Global Publishing
Genre: Historical Fantasy
Divine Choreography of Redemption explores the story of redemption as divine drama advanced by acts and agents that transcend time and space. The novel is set beyond the Storied Sea on the ancient Isle of Estillyen, far from everywhere yet mystically near. There, a troupe of Message Makers from the seventeenth century mysteriously arrives to grapple with the theme in today's context.
At the heart of the novel, a battle brews between technology's driven existence--aided by modern devices and algorithms--and life centered in Scriptures ancient narrative. The story line begs the question: Does meaning truly abide in the saga of redemption's divine choreography, or in media's discarnate realm?
Having lived and worked in London, Moscow, and New York, today author William Jefferson writes from a Civil-War era cottage in the rural Ozarks. He is author of Messages from Estillyen : A Novel of Redemption and Human Worth, and owner of Storybook Barn www.Storybookbarnmo.com Jefferson holds an MTh in Theology and Media from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in Communications from the Wheaton Graduate School.

Title: Quit Your Pitchin'
Series: There's No Crying in Baseball
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Sports Romance
Release Date: July 20, 2018 Cover Model: Chase Ketron Photographer: FuriousFotog
What’s wrong with my butt?
She means those words to be directed toward the woman beside her, not him. But he can’t stop himself
from answering. Not when her ass is the most magnificent thing he’s seen in his life.
Apparently, answering her with ‘not a damn thing’ wasn’t what she was expecting.
She likely wasn’t expecting the baseball she took to the face at his next at bat, either.
All it takes is one ill-fated foul ball, and George Hoffman, Lumberjacks center fielder, falls head over
heels in love with Wrigley Field—and yes, that is her real name.
From that point forward, George and Wrigley fall into a fast whirlwind love that ends with them eloping
to Vegas. And he has his potty mouth, titty bar owning, pain in the ass grandmother to thank for it.
Not that he’s complaining or anything.
Who wouldn’t want to be married to a woman that made his heart race like he was in the final game of
the World Series?
The only problem is trying to convince her of that.
Quit Your Pitchin’ was nothing like I expected! This book was different from every other LLV book I’ve read. It’s the sweet & tragic story of a couple who come together and fall apart. Who love each other so desperately but don’t know how to surmount the obstacles in their way.
It’s told in two-parts, basically before the rift and after. There are dysfunctional family dynamics in play, and it made me wonder why these characters held on to those relationships for so long. Both the main characters have family issues, so it’s not just one or the other. But I did love George’s grandma! She was a hoot!
I don’t want to give any spoilers so I’ll stop here. Just know that I wanted to slap the characters on more than one occasion because they made their road to HEA more difficult than it should have been… but that’s just human nature!
Title: The Price of Brimstone
Author: Allie Gail
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: July 18, 2018
There's a monster in my basement.
That isn't a metaphor, in case you were wondering. And it isn't the tagline to some midnight horror flick. Fact is, Locryn Price is nothing if not a monster. One part human, the other part demon, the guy's got a slab of ice where his heart should be.
Ironic, considering the rest of him is hot enough to start a fire underwater.
Not exactly what I was expecting to find when I came home from college to surprise my brother. I mean, I always knew Russell was a little warped, but now we have a pissed-off, wisecracking demon in shackles and chains as proof.
The October winds are stirring, bringing more than just storms. Two of our friends are missing. Loc knows something, but he isn't talking. And to complicate matters further, my former crush Max has joined forces with my brother. They think they'll get answers using spells and pentacles and brute torture.
But the devil prefers to bargain.
My innocence in exchange for the hostages. Those are his terms.
Now I'm in his world. A world of demons, deception and the sweetest of seductions.
And losing my way in the darkness never felt so good.
Born and raised in rural Alabama, Allie Gail currently resides in sunny Florida with her own blue-eyed Prince Charming and a hyperactive hamster named Toot-Toot. Always an avid reader, she took to her keyboard on a whim in 2012 and that was the last anyone ever saw of her. (Just kidding – I did venture out of the house that one time back in 2014, but only because I was tricked into it. Stupid hurricane.)
Her genres of choice are paranormal romance and rom-com, featuring goofy but headstrong heroines and the sexy, snarky men who love them. When her indecisiveness doesn't have her obsessively typing, deleting, then re-typing the same scene over and over, you can usually find her lurking online. Stop by Facebook and say hello!
What Lies in Shadows
Always Been You
by Sadie Allen
Cedar Lake Series, Book 1
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Design: Oh So Novel
Release Date: July 19, 2018
Emma Taylor ran away from home in a cloud of dust, taking the pieces of her broken heart with her. Fifteen years later, she is back to care for her grieving father and to face the boy who once broke her heart.
Brazos Huntswell was dealt a bad hand. Life hasn't turned out the way he envisioned it in high school. He's a single father to a moody teenage girl and trying to make a go of the cattle ranch his father left him.
Trouble is brewing in the town of Cedar Lake, and people are turning up dead. Will Braz and Emma be able to weather the coming storm and take a chance on forever? Or will a ghost from the past destroy that chance... permanently?
Add to your Goodreads TBR List:
This story was full of emotions, mystery, suspense, and a hot cowboy.
Emma … man, what do I say about her? I loved Emma! This girl had her heart broken before she was able to truly live, which hardened her against ever falling for a man. When she holds a grudge, she REALLY holds a grudge. I understand where she was coming from, though. When you have your mind and heart set on something (especially your heart), when things finally start to come together and you feel like you are so close to all your dreams coming true … then someone throws a bucket of ice water on you… yeah, years of therapy would be needed to overcome such a slap of reality. Nevertheless, she was a strong, determined, and a compassionate character.
Braz is Emma’s bad guy, the man who broke her heart, but he isn’t bad. Emma’s expectations were too high. Braz is actually a caring individual who was manipulated into a situation that he ended up making the best of. His life was a hard road, full of life’s bumps of heartbreak, disappointment, but also the best kind of love—his daughter. He is a hardworking man, trying to be the best parent he can be while turning his life into something better.
The suspense and mystery don’t end with this book. This little teaser is just the beginning of something bigger going on. Toward the ending, some of the pieces come together and we have a few heart-stopping moments when the villain shows their true colors.
This was a great start to a series that is sure to have many surprises along the way. Totally a recommended read.

A Pilgrimage to Death

Sam brought his chair down with a soft thump as it hit the patio paver but he didn’t say anything for another long moment.
“Anna Carmen was my best friend. She helped me through a hard time—she helped me see what I couldn’t then.”
Cici’s lip trembled as she lifted her teacup. “I miss her, too. So much. Yesterday . . . it all came bubbling back up.”
Sam’s hand settled on Cici’s shoulder in that gesture of comfort she’d come to depend on.
“I know you do. And, yeah, I figured it would.”
Jaycee sidled up to their table and settled Sam’s large glass of iced tea on the table. Condensation formed on the glass, dripping down to wet the white napkin beneath it.
“I thought of something,” the girl said.
Both Cici and Sam turned their faces up to the teenager.
“Mr. Johnson told me one time he was meeting someone about a case.” Her brow wrinkled for a moment before she shrugged. “Does that help?”
Sam tugged at his short ponytail. “Maybe. Thanks, Jaycee.”
“Sure.” The girl skittered off to greet some new patrons.
“You think you know what the case is, don’t you?” Cici asked, pouring more tea into her cup.
