Ghosts are real. Well, technically speaking, maybe not. But the ones that haunt a man’s soul? Those are very real. So real, in fact, that there are times when Castiel would rather silence them forever in the worst way possible than to go on living with them haunting his every step. All it took was one single second in time for his attention to drift, and everything changed. Life as he once knew it, is over. Now he’s struggling to make sense of the pieces that are left, and he’s fairly sure at least half of them are missing. He’s living for three things now. His club—the Bear Bottom Guardians. His work as a police officer for Bear Bottom Police Department. And the occasional glimpse of a girl that makes his spirit feel free. Despite the ghosts that haunt him, he’s not willing to present them with another target. Which is why he has to stay away from her. He can’t touch her. He can’t talk to her. He can’t get anywhere near her. Not and live with himself afterward. The only problem is, Turner doesn’t care what Castiel wants. She also has a solution for his ghosts. You may call her Ms. Ghostbuster.

Review:
Keep It Classy … OMG. I cried so hard reading this book. This book had so much emotion it’s palpable. I felt Turner’s pain and grief. I also felt her struggle with how she saw herself sometimes. Even when you lose weight sometimes it’s hard to shake the mentality of being overweight. I loved her family and her relationship with them. I loved Castiel. He was broody but had so much depth to him, more than he let others see. Their enemies to lovers story was a slow burn that became an inferno. His family, however, I wanted to throat punch. As usual, Lani’s sense of humor is evident, but this book really really really hit me in the heart. 5 Stars

Title: Her Prince
Series: The Wounded Souls: Book Six
Author: Leah Sharelle
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 14, 2019 Cover Photo: Lindee Robinson Photography
I had secrets that were drowning me, and my worst fear was he was going to get tired of waiting for me to put my big girl panties on and reveal the biggest one.
Him.
Shiloh
My life started out with a tragedy—the death of my mother.
But I had something no other infant had, six amazing men. My father and his brothers in arms raised me and gave me the best life any kid could ask for.
I grew up in the loving arms of the Wounded Souls, and each and every one of them protected and loved me beyond measure. Even when I lost two of the most important people in my life, the Souls never let me fall.
After Dad met and married the best woman I had the pleasure of knowing, she and her flock, also wonderful women, gave me the feminine balance I needed in a life of soldiers turned bikers. They taught me to rise to every challenge and always be true to myself.
Somewhere, I lost sight of that on the way to my aspirations to make my mark.
Falling in love with a man who would die for me, adored me, and would do anything for me, should have been the happiest time of my life. So why was I hiding him?
Could I really have it all? Or would my obsession with being everything and having it all mean I would lose the one person who meant everything?
Then there was my ghost. Having him and his promise not to leave me was both a blessing and a curse. He knew all my secrets, and he also knew how to press my buttons.
The danger of Rogue is a distant memory, and the kids of the Wounded Souls are all grown up. The club princess has big dreams and even bigger secrets. Will she keep her dreams alive and keep the love of her prince?
I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy.
I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor. I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading. I love Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
You murder a man, and all of a sudden people are scared of you. Slate Solis went from being a guy that people went to in times of need to an ex-con that people crossed the street to avoid being too close to. He knows he’s done wrong, but out of all of his sins, only one really bothers him—coveting thy neighbor’s wife. Harleigh Belle—the cute little lady that never gives him a second glance. After seeing her for the first time while he was in prison, she’s stayed on his mind for three long years. Each time she comes in to visit with her friend on family day, he can’t help but stare. Then the day comes that he’s set free, and he’s almost disappointed that he’ll never see her again. Except fate has different plans. He hasn’t been back in his house for more than three hours when he sees her. Harleigh Belle in all her glory…oh, and her husband that is everything Slate isn’t. He tells himself that her being fifty feet away from him, all day every day, is a complete coincidence. One that he shouldn’t take advantage of. The more time passes, the harder it gets to stay away. Until one day, and one very ill-timed thunderstorm, ruin everything. Who knew that baby-making-weather was a real thing?

Review:
This series just keeps getting better and better! OMG! I loved Zee and Jubilee’s story. It was an enemies to lovers story with a dash of all the good stuff. Zee and his brother Tan were inseparable from another set of twins, Jubilee and Annmarie. Zee dates Annmarie and Tan is with Jubilee all through their teenage years. I really want to comment on this, but it would probably be a spoiler. So, read the book and see what you think. I think It Happens was the most suspenseful of the series so far. I got really creeped out, but a good creeped out. It was like something off CSI: Las Vegas and Lifetime. I swear, read it and tell me what Lifetime movie this gives a nod to. Seriously. I loved it and it hit all my drama, mystery, and suspense buttons. I loved the relationship that evolves between them. And the tattoo… gah, it made my heart melt. I adored this book, and you need to pick this series up RIGHT NOW! 10 Bajillion Stars

Good vs Bad. Light vs Dark. Right vs Wrong. There are always two sides to every coin. Josiah ‘Liner’ Paldecki knew the moment he laid eyes on her that there was something different about her. Something special. Something so unique that it practically poleaxed him the moment that their eyes met. Except, the next time he saw her, it was like she was a different woman altogether. There was a blankness to her eyes that concerned him. An air of menace about her that honestly scared him to death. He’s more than man enough to admit it. At first, Liner thinks it’s because she’s bi-polar, or possibly psychopathic. Then he realizes the truth. That there isn’t a single person that exhibits such different personalities, but two. Two identical twin sisters, both completely different, yet exactly the same. One with a soul, and one without. One that has his heart, and one that only wants to destroy it.

He wasted no time and kissed me. His lips encouraged mine to move with his, and a delicate dance of lips and tongues ensued. My thoughts jumbled as I tried to decide what made the kiss so delicious, the sensual feeling of his lips on mine or the taste of him coupled with the concentrated smell of his designer cologne. Then, it didn’t matter, because I felt his thick thigh wedging in between my legs and all of his weight pushing against me.
Once my legs spread to accommodate him, the kiss went downright ferocious. His hands shoved into my hair and one gripped my locks hard. My hands went under his t-shirt to feel his abs, pecs and then roamed around to stroke his lats. Our tongues dueled brutally, and I got the impression that Razor was just as hungry for it as I was. I needed to get laid. It had been a damn long time, and I was capital-H Horny!
I heard loud clinking of glasses and muffled male laughter. It dawned on me that his room backed up to the bar area of the common room. If I could hear them, then it stood to reason that they would hear me if I got loud. I did not want to have an audience to this, even if it was only for the audible portion of what we were doing. Plus, Vamp and Jim’s words about Razor being a player came back to me. I wasn’t looking for a relationship, necessarily, but I also wasn’t going to be some kind of one-night stand for a pretty-boy player like Razor. I jerked my head away from him and his hands in my hair loosened.
“What?” he whispered.
After a long blink, I looked into his eyes and said, “I…we…we just can’t. Not—”
It was on the tip of my tongue to say ‘Not right now’, but the fact of the matter was that the two of us couldn’t do this at all. He was not my type. I was not up for being chewed up and spit out the way that good-looking men were prone to do. But as horny as I was, it was taking all of my willpower to restrain myself. I pushed against his shoulders to get him off of me, but he was damn heavy.
“Not what, Neil? Not here, not right now?” he asked and his voice was exceptionally husky.
“Not at all,” I said in a small voice.
His eyebrows drew together and his eyes narrowed. “‘Not at all?’ Why would you say that?”
I kept quiet.
His eyebrows shot up and he said, “You don’t seem like a tease, so why are you fighting this so hard?”
I opened my mouth to speak, but his finger pushed on my lips. “And don’t give me your bullshit line that I’m not your type of guy. You’re gorgeous, I’m semi-good-looking –”
My chin tipped up with my laughter at his outrageous statement. I stopped laughing and leveled my gaze on him again. His face had softened and if I didn’t know better, I’d say he looked like he was in awe. He couldn’t possibly be looking at me like that.
“I was wrong,” he whispered.
One of my eyebrows went up in question.
“You’re gorgeous always, but you belly-laughing is a sight to behold.”
Heat raced to my cheeks, so I pushed against his shoulders again with more oomph, but he still wouldn’t budge. “Get off of me, Romeo. We had dinner, it’s time for me to go.”
He shook his head and his weight became heavier on me. “Not until you tell me why.”
I was getting irritated and I blurted, “I’m not going to be just another notch for you.”
His eyes glittered at me. “People been feedin’ you shit about me.”
“Um, well, I hadn’t thought of it that way,” I whispered.
“Right. You aren’t a club whore, and you aren’t some chick who came to our party for a little sumpin’-sumpin’, Neil.”
I sighed, but he went on, “I’m a flirt. Hard not to be when I look like I do. So, yeah, I’ve had lots of ass and can usually work my way in with any chick I see. That gets me a rep that isn’t entirely true. So, we’ll stop, but you aren’t going just yet.”
“What are you talking about?”
“This wasn't ‘just dinner’, but I’m making you uncomfortable, so let’s go hang with the brothers.”

Hoax knows two things very well. One, he’s not relationship material. Two, the nurse that treats him for erectile dysfunction is the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen, and practically has ‘the marrying type’ stamped on her forehead. Does that stop him from wanting her? No. Unfortunately, he learned a long time ago that Army Delta Force and long-lasting relationships don’t go hand in hand. But beautiful hazel eyes, curly blonde hair, and the prettiest lips he’s ever seen play havoc with his resolve, making him forget his earlier convictions. All it takes is one teeny, tiny kiss for every shred of control he has to disappear, along with the problem in his pants. Soon he finds himself doing things that he knows that he shouldn’t. He doesn’t know that he’s found the woman that’s meant to be his. Nor does he realize that her father is the man he’s idolized from the moment he joined the army at the age of eighteen. Because, maybe if he had, he would’ve tried a little harder to ignore the pull he felt between them instead of making her his the night before he deployed for six months. He also might’ve tried a little harder not to knock her up.

Review:
Out of all the books LLV has written, I think this one is my favorite. Pru is one of Sam and Cheyenne’s twins (The Freebirds), and Sila’s granddaughter (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens). Hoax is Dixie’s grandson (Dixie Warden) and Bayou’s cousin (Bear Bottom Guardians MC). So, we have several series, families, and generations at play in this book, and it’s freaking awesome! It can be read as a standalone, but I do not recommend it. You can’t appreciate it in its entirety without reading the books these characters had and been in—even the ones who have had their own books make appearances in others. So, let’s get down to it… Hoax is still in the military—Delta Force—and has no plans on ever leaving or falling in love… until he meets Pru. Pru is not looking for love from a military man. Refuses to even date them since she’s been burned twice by liars and cheaters. Her father’s generation was the last of the good ones, or so she thought. I loved watching them prove each other wrong, and in Lani Lynn Vale fashion, it was quite hilarious. I was laughing right from the get-go! So, if you like reading about family, alpha males, feisty nurses, pet pigs and movie quoting parrots … this book is for you! I can’t forget the villain, because there is always a villain lurking to make life difficult for our couple. So, buy it, and you won’t be sorry. 5 Stars!
