Title: The Trickster's Hunt
Series: Three Tricksters Harem #1
Authors: Carrie Whitethorne & Kel Carpenter
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: May 18, 2018
Have you ever had a feeling like something bad was going to happen? What about a gut reaction to someone you had never met? You know what I’m talking about. The times where something just doesn’t feel right, so you turn and walk the other way only to find out someone got robbed down the same alley you decided not to turn down.
I get that feeling a lot. I thought it was normal. I didn’t know it was a warning. I didn’t know it was there to keep me alive.
There’s a lot of things I didn’t know, but what I now know…it’s got me scared senseless.
Turns out, the Gods are real.
Destiny is real.
Fate is something that we can’t always control.
And me? I’m just a human caught up in a game of the Gods. Except—I’m not. Not really. I’m someone else entirely, according to the three genies who have sworn to protect me.
From what? Well to explain that, we’re going to have to go way back to Ancient Egypt. A land of monsters and Gods and wars.
Where do I fit in? Smack bang in the middle, by the looks of it.
I managed five lengths of the pool before I lost the ability to breathe and positioned myself on the steps leading down into the water for a rest. That was when he walked in.I’m pretty sure I gawked. I couldn’t help it. Most people would have found it odd that all these fit guys were wandering around, but not me. I was damn grateful for them.He was tall; taller than the other two, broader across the shoulders, and ripped. Not that I was comparing. I make a point of appreciating the male form in most of its varieties. He ignored me, walking around to the deeper end of the pool. I shamelessly watched him pass. The past two days I’d been subject to the torture of two flirting men. The one passing me now, with his honey coloured skin, rippling abs, and short boxed beard, was one too many. His choice of swimwear didn’t help either.Nope. Nothing left to the imagination other than how his blood pressure fared. There was no one else there, and I was about to go back to my room when a cat sauntered over. I didn’t see where it had come from, but it had a collar and was a grey striped colour. It sat there for ages, staring me out, its tail flicking from side to side. Then it walked around the table a few times. When it came right up and pawed at my leg, I wasn’t sure what to do. “Umm...go on. Shoo.”It didn’t.It kept tapping at my leg. I was going to swipe it away when it jumped up into my lap, purring and pressing its face down the side of the chair next to my hip. I grabbed it and dropped it on the floor next to me.Rather than take the hint, the tenacious little shit leapt effortlessly onto the table, barely avoiding knocking the glass over, and turned to face me as it sat down. It looked pissed off, until it sat its arse down, lifted its leg, and began to clean itself.
Carrie is a mum. An author. A creator of worlds. A dreamer. A friend.
At her childhood home in Yorkshire, Carrie was encouraged to utilize her imagination, to see things for what they could be, and to ask the question “what if?” Her mum introduced her to worlds filled with magic: Barrie, Lewis, Tolkien, Blyton. That magic evolved and continued to inspire her when she discovered Rowling and Sanderson. They all asked the question and explored the possibilities, opening doors to new adventures that would forever change generations to come.
Even as a child, Carrie preferred creative outlets and writing. But as an adult, Carrie had not yet had that moment of inspiration to begin writing a novel of her own. That all changed one normal morning, on a normal walk to school, when a small boy slipped from the pavement and on to the road. There was no accident. No horror. Just a near miss that later formulated into one question: what if he was able to save himself? Fueled by this question and Carrie’s love of fantasy, European folklore, and mythological creatures, The Riftkeepers emerged. This world answered her question. The series gave birth to characters that took on a life of their own, many telling continued stories in novellas and spinoffs.
When Carrie isn’t writing and annoying her editor with endless typos, she barely sleeps, thinks about her characters, indulges in an unhealthy Facebook addiction, exploring the beauty of the Lake District as her backyard, and contemplating which she loves more: pizza or wine. Definitely wine. Considered to be one of the most boring people she knows, writing her own biography was a definite weakness. Her first draft was rubbish and was picked apart by friends who insisted she was funnier and far more interesting than she gives herself credit. She was no longer allowed to write her own biography, so she provided input.
Carrie now resides in West Cumbria with her husband and two children. They are her inspiration. Her world.
Kel Carpenter is a USA Today Bestselling Author and writer of all things fantasy. She loves reading, watching Netflix original shows, and subjecting her favorite co-author and editor to crazy, harebrained book ideas. Kel currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her boyfriend and three fur-children. When she is not writing or working on completing her senior year of college, she is spending time with her dog, Harley, or teasing her two cats with a laser pointer.
Blind Trust
Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble / iBooks / Kobo -- EXCERPT: Jacob popped his head in the doorway. “I’m getting her now.” He glanced around. “Any questions?” Three silent head shakes were his answer. “Good.” He turned away before he quickly spun back. “It’s her birthday present. Let’s make it good for her.” He winked, a devious smile appearing before he left. Ryan crossed his arms, inhaled. He closed his eyes and focused inward. The slow beat of his pulse came through to provide the consistency he sought. Another inhale and he released the residual irritation that lingered. The low hum of the air conditioner filtered into his awareness. In some ways, it amplified the silence, but he found solace in it. Gone was the stress of the day. Dismissed were the troubles that waited for him at his desk. Nothing mattered but this moment. Which was all he had to give. A soft gasp from the hallway yanked his eyes open. Everything froze as he waited for the woman to step through the door. Anticipation buzzed on a low note to tighten his chest and entice his dick. Four on one was always an interesting tango between observing and participating. He’d be content to watch tonight, if the scene played out that way, let the erotic show be a teaser until he got home and relieved the tension with his own hand. Controlling the build was just another part of the game. Jacob appeared first, his focus on the leggy brunette slightly behind him. He ushered her through the doorway, a hand on her back to guide her. A black blindfold covered her eyes and most of her upper face, which only highlighted the dark red stain of her lipstick. This was ultimate trust given by her—to a group of men she didn’t know. The power of that surged up to pick at the multitude of possibilities. She was at their mercy. Theirs to tempt and pleasure until she begged for relief…or more. Wavy curls draped over her shoulders, the ends grazing the mounds of her breasts pushed high by the lilac bra. Her lean form curved at the hips and enticed his gaze down to the tiny silk panties, which shimmered softly in the low light. He swallowed, pulse increasing when a tentative smile teased her lips. He sucked in a quiet breath, thoughts spinning. There was something familiar about her. Too familiar. Brie. That was the name Jacob had provided, and it was probably a scene name. His eyes narrowed, doubts forming as logic kicked in. The odds were astronomical given the number of people populating the San Francisco Bay area. Brie. Like the cheese he detested but consumed when social situations dictated he should. Like the possible shortened name of the paralegal who worked with his law partner. Same brown hair. Same general height and build. Same nervous tap of her fingers in a run against her thumb that she failed to contain when presenting her case research. Brighton Wakeford. Damn it. Even if it was her, did it matter? She couldn’t see him. But he could see all of her. Every small dip and freckle that dotted her pale skin. Like the mole at the edge of her collarbone. And the one on her hip, just above her panty line. Were there more? Would he find them all? One night of lust and sex. That was all he was there for. And so was she.

Author: Molly O'Hare
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: May 15, 2018
Red Hatter Book Blog - “Stumbling Into Him is pure perfection!”Rosa - “I have one warning though. Please be very cautious when reading this book as there will be a lot of laughing involved. This is a sweet romance and I highly recommend this book to all Rom-Com lovers.”Sara - “I was giggling and laughing out loud throughout the entire story of Stumbling Into Him.”
Holly has spent her whole life as a walking disaster, from running into walls, tripping over invisible objects, and always being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When a seemingly normal outing taking her overly opinionated Corgi for a walk resulted in an object to the face, she didn’t think her day could get any worse. The moment she opened her eyes and saw the Adonis standing over her, she knew she’d been wrong. It was about to get a whole lot worse.
Ben’s lived his whole life disobeying his uptight, self-centered, shrew of a mother. Instead of going into the family business, he followed his dreams and opened his veterinarian clinic. One ordinary day at the dog park, and a rogue dog toy later, he found himself captivated by the curvy woman that had a feistiness which set him on fire.
It could only get better from here, right? Too bad his mother had other plans.
Review:
If you like curvy heroines and sweet alpha heroes Stumbling Into Him is the perfect read for you! It was a sexy, sweet read with lots of funnies. I really loved Holly aka Grace. Her devotion to her father and her pet Corgi, Lord Waffles, was one of my favorite parts. Her compassion was a perfect match to Ben’s. I really loved them together. You also can’t help but love Ben. It was basically love at first frisbee hit for him—even with a bloody lip and a chipped tooth Holly drew him in. The attraction between them was off the charts! His love for animals and his drive to live his own life on his terms made him a perfect alpha hero. Molly’s mix of humor and romance made this an excellent read. I definitely recommend this book and will probably read it again. 5 stars!
Much like any author out there, sleeping does not come easy to Molly. As it turns out, she has horrible insomnia . When she was younger, to help herself fall asleep she would recite stories. Each night she’d pick up where the story left off previously until the tale was complete. One morning, after she finished a particularly fun adventure, she decided she wanted to start sharing them with others. A few months later, here she is, sharing her lack of sleep with all of you. Who says the stories in our heads can’t be fun for others?
Also, she loves Fun Facts. New ones are at the end of each of her book. If you look close enough, some are hidden on her website too.
Title: Simmer
Author: Stephanie Rose
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 16, 2018
Simmer (verb): to stew gently below or just at the boiling point; to be in a state of incipient development
My life was always at a simmer… only stewing, never going anywhere. I was left to fend for myself when it came to affection or love, so I learned to go without.
I refused to let them see how broken and lonely I was; it was much easier to hide behind a false reality. I didn't want anyone's pity. I didn't need it. Pity wouldn't put food on the table or keep a roof over our heads. That was all me.
Now, I have a second chance at a dream long forgotten. It demands hard work and sacrifice—with absolutely no distractions. A recipe I already know all too well, raising a daughter on my own.
Drew Kostas is everything I’ve ever wanted but couldn't let myself have. He’s younger, gorgeous, charming—and relentless. He sees beyond the hardened shell I’ve built to protect myself, coaxing out a softer me I don't recognize.
It doesn't matter how I melt in his presence when the heat between us threatens to boil over.
That's the thing about heat. When it rises, everyone gets burned.
Especially when they're foolish enough to fall in love.
“Hey, Kostas!” A voice called out behind us. “Still coming here at the butt crack of dawn?” Chase ambled over to us. He was a grad student, too, but I only knew him through a friend of mine. “And you’ve got a pretty running partner now.”
I didn’t like or dislike him, but his presence now made me bristle with irritation. I suspected it had something to do with how he brazenly eye fucked Sara as she leaned back on the bench.
“I don’t think we’ve met. I’m Chase. Nice to meet you.” He extended a hand to Sara with a huge, shit-eating grin. I gripped the edge of the metal bench to fight the urge to ball my hands into fists and pummel them right in his face.
“Sara.” She gripped his hand, and he didn’t let go as easily as he should have, or at least as easily as I thought he should have. He settled next to her, again too close for my comfort, and blood boiled in my veins. He was always on the creepy side, but I never wanted to kick the shit out of him for it before.
“Are you one of Drew’s friends?” She squinted as she looked between us.
“We were in a few classes last year.” I shrugged before standing. “And we were just on our way to breakfast, so if you’ll excuse us.” I grabbed her hand and yanked her off the bench harder than I’d meant to. Something inside me snapped and needed to get her away from this asshole as soon as possible.
Maybe I didn’t accept being just friends with Sara as much as I let on. Maybe I hated that I had no claim or right to tell Chase or guys like him who approached her to back off. Maybe I wanted her to be mine—now. Not maybe at some unsure point in the unforeseeable future.
“Are you all right?” Sara stilled and yanked back.
“Fine,” I clipped, still irritated as fuck, and doing a shit job of hiding it. Her brows pinched in confusion, and I didn’t blame her. Sometimes, I wondered what the hell was wrong with me, too.
We were supposed to be only friends, but I hadn’t so much as glanced in another woman’s direction since Sara stumbled into the lab that night. I’d go to the bar with the guys and the girls either wouldn’t be pretty enough or smart enough or something else enough. The problem, or my problem was, they weren’t Sara enough.
Silence fell over us as we made our way to the diner on campus. It was only when I reached for the door that I realized I still held her hand in mine. I’d never dropped it, and she never pulled away. Now I was even more pissed at myself for wanting to make that simple gesture mean something between us.
The waitress brought our menus over right after we were seated. The usual playfulness between us wasn’t there. The air that surrounded us was thick and uncomfortable. Shaking off what happened with Chase was harder than it should’ve been. He only shook her hand … and leered at her. I raked my hand through my hair as the thought pissed me off all over again. What would I do if a guy tried more than that? I’d end up in jail if I didn’t reel myself in.
“Why do you waste your time, Drew?” Sara’s voice was small.
I lifted my head to meet her pained stare. Her chocolate brown eyes bore into mine, half questioning, half exposed. I’d never seen her this vulnerable before.
Stephanie Rose grew up loving words and making up stories. Being able to share them with readers is her dream come true. This lifelong Bronx girl loves Starbucks, wine and 80s rock. Her voice often gets mistaken for a Mob Wives trailer.
She married her prom date and has a LEGO obsessed son. She believes there is nothing sexier than a good guy who loves with all his heart and has made it her mission to bring as many as she can to the page.

He took some out and began placing them on the shelves, bending and stretching at his task. He had a nice back, broad shoulders and muscles that could be seen clearly under his light blue T-shirt. Daisy watched for a minute, fascinated. "Like what you see?" he asked without turning around. She jumped at the sound of his voice. "Well, you're the only thing in the room that's moving, you know?" she said by way of explanation. He turned around to look at her, books in either hand, a small grin on his face. "Of course, what was I thinking?" he asked rhetorically. "And look. We're both adults here, hm?" He looked carefully at her. "The couch we just brought up here cost fifty dollars at the second-hand store, and has to be at least thirty years old. I don't want to sleep on it, and I don't think you're going to want to sleep on it, either." She shook her head. "So the bed is nice and big," he continued. "I think we can manage, don't you? We can share the bed." He watched her for her reaction. "I give you my word this is not going to be a problem for me. At all. Is this going to be a problem for you?" She looked at him. "Really? At all?" She recovered from the unintentional meaning of his words quickly. "No, it won't be a problem for me, either," she said firmly. "We can share the bed."

Review:
I have mixed feelings about this book. Pros: I love the subject manner. I think it’s something that needs to be discussed until our ears bleed. I love how Brady showed two sides of every story. It didn’t excuse the bullies for their behavior in any way, but it did show the whys. Jewel and Kaiden were amazing characters who you couldn’t help falling in love with. Jewel had amazing parents, something the bullies were lacking, which gave her the love and acceptances to a mature into a young woman who knew who she was and wasn’t afraid to show it. Kaiden, meanwhile, once had amazing parents, but after the death of his father, his mother kept to herself. However, because of how he had been raised, he pushed himself past the despair and overcame his losses. Amazing, strong characters. There is a loss in the book that came as a surprise, showing that people who seem okay, aren’t. It made some characters angry, some characters fell apart, and some characters grew from it. Cons: When the subject manner of bullying was brought to someone’s attention, I felt like I was sitting in on a lecture. It felt too practiced and not in the moment. To me, it took away from the book, and I thought those few scenes could have been written more like dialogue and less like a pamphlet on teenage suicide and bullying. There were also some consistency problems that threw the book off. For one, Jewel once being friends with her bully, though that isn’t mentioned until later in the book. Before that, you never knew they were once friends. Overall, I recommend the book to young readers, especially ones who are known bullies.

It is filled with suspense, mystery, love, and divides. I loved the building mystery in the beginning. I loved the building relationship in the middle. And I loved all the suspense in the end. Nicholas was a fantastic character, hell-bent on revenge. He was shrouded in mystery, and the hits kept coming as the book progressed. Then there was Acacia, who was a lovely character. I loved her beliefs and how she only saw and wanted good. The religion factors of this book really got to me. In a world where hatred spews, this book gives you another perspective. It’s a beautiful teaching of right and wrong and how the three dominating religions all focus on love and not hatred. Truly inspiring. I love how Reynard always teaches me something. Art is a passion of mine, and Reynard’s books are always filled with it. I learned a lot about different agencies in other countries, too. Always love to learn. ~ Review by Kat Alexander, author of Looking Back on Forever 5 Stars!!!

Title: Warranted Desires
Series: A Warranted Series Book 2
Author: Shannon Nemechek
Genre: Military Romance/Romantic Suspense
Release Date: May 15, 2018 Publisher: Limitless Publishing
It’s been six months since all hell broke loose. Six months since I killed the organization’s leader. And six months since I fell for the love of my life.
Samantha and I thought the worst was over, that we would be able to move on—together. But we were wrong.
What we thought was in the past has now come back to haunt us. We’ve only managed to scratch the surface of this war raging against terrorism, and we have no idea who to trust anymore.
But one thing is for damn sure. I won’t let anyone hurt her. I will keep Samantha safe…even if it kills me.
Where could that man be? Sam wondered as she grabbed a sheet from the bed, wrapping it about herself as she started the coffee. She had already been up nearly half an hour, and he still wasn’t showing. Not even a note, weird. Must not have gone far then. As the coffee pot filled with water, she caught what she thought was Raleigh’s voice in the hallway. Turning off the water, she strained to listen. Yep, that’s him. She inched closer to the door and, still unable to hear clearly, pressed her ear against the wooden door and heard his voice clearly.
“Yes, sir,” he said. “I can report to Fort Bragg as soon as we close up this investigation.” Sam could feel a lump in her throat start to form as she listened to the excitement in his voice. This is something he wants.
“No, sir. I have nothing holding me in Alabama. Nope, no relationship either. I am as free as a bird.” His words cut through her.
No relationship? Nothing holding him? Report to Fort Bragg? None of this made sense to her; they hadn’t known each other long, but he never mentioned leaving and had continued to express his love for her and how he never wanted to leave her side. The tears started to flow as Sam tried to hold herself back from flinging the door open and punching him in the throat.
Stopping herself, she paused and thought about it. He was right—they didn’t have a “relationship” and there wasn’t anything holding him back. Just because he says he loves me doesn’t mean we’ll be married and live happily ever after, white picket fence and all. Besides, I’m not the white picket fence kind of woman. What does Happily Ever After mean in the first place?
Samantha paused and pressed her ear against the door to catch more of the conversation just as she heard the door key click. She quickly jumped clear of the door just in time and made it to the bathroom, standing in front of the mirror when Raleigh waltzed in, a huge smile on his face.
Seeing Sam in front of the mirror as he entered the room, he snuck up behind her, scooped her up in his arms, kissed her, and tossed her onto the bed, jumping next to her. “Good morning, darlin’. How’d ya sleep?” he asked as he propped his head up, looking down at her.
“I slept fine. I’m good.” Straining to rise, she uttered, “I’m just fine.” Her lips were pursed and her eyes almost burned with anger.
Confused, Raleigh sat up as Sam stood in front of him naked. “Well darlin’, you don’t look okay. You look pissed. If I didn’t know any better, I would think those hazel eyes of yours want to burn a hole right through me. Did I do something?”
“No,” she snapped back. “I’m okay, just sore is all.” “Well, baby, do you want me to give you a massage or we can get into the shower and see what comes up?” He smiled and winked at her. She couldn’t resist that damn smile, let alone be mad at him. Samantha smiled back. He will tell me in his own time. For now, I will enjoy what he has to give and hope for the best.
Samantha looked down at him, her eyes bright with anticipation. “Well, what are you waiting for?” she spoke, extending her hand to his to pull him up from the bed and into the shower. It didn’t take much for Raleigh to figure out what she was hinting at; he grabbed her hand, sprung to his feet, and pulled her into the bathroom all in one complete action. Sam giggled as he picked her up and placed her on the bathroom counter. When he bent over to turn on the water, she slapped him on his ass.
She did love that ass of his, so tight and firm he could crack a walnut between those cheeks.
“Whoa now, missy. It ain’t time for that yet. You will get your chance to play. Right now, it’s my turn.”
As he turned toward her, she could already see the effect she had on him. She never thought of herself as someone who could affect a man that quickly. They hadn’t even gotten started with the fun stuff yet.
