Title: The Bombshell Effect
Author: Karla Sorensen
Genre: Sports Romantic Comedy
Release Date: June 14, 2018 Cover Designer: Najla Qamber
Allie Sutton just got a new job.
Not one she wants, and definitely not one she's prepared for. She hadn't seen her dad in years, so the last thing she expects upon his sudden death is to inherit the thing he loved more than anything (or anyone) ... the professional football team he owned for the last twenty years.
Luke Pierson does not want a new boss.
What he wants is to be a good father to his daughter, the best quarterback possible for his teammates. What he doesn't need is a blonde bombshell ruining the team's chances at another championship. Especially when that bombshell turns out to be his new neighbor. The neighbor he was a complete jerk to the first time they met.
For the sake of the team, they treat each other like complete professionals. In public, at least. Behind closed doors, it's a different story. And the fallout of giving in to that heat is something neither one of them can see coming.
Well, let’s see ... I’m a wife and a mother. If the things that I write bring a smile to someone's face, then I've done my job. I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies. I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I'll love you forever.

Shit. I should message Glen again to say I’m going to be even later than I expected. I approach the tall man who looks as annoyed as me for being here on a Friday night. “Hello, I need to head to” —I glance at the envelope— “Heiberman and Lipe Law Firm.” He taps a few keys. “I think they’re closed already.” His face is void of any emotion. “Can you tell me if there’s a…” my eyes glance to the folder again. “Mr. Bennett?” The last name causes my stomach to gurgle. “Let me call up.” He presses some buttons on the phone, listens for a second and then hangs up. “No one is answering.” I lean over the counter, splashing on my please eat out of my hand smile. “It’s Friday. You want to go home. I want to go home. I promised my boss that I’d get these on the desk of Mr. Bennett.” I cough, bile rising up my throat with the mention of the name. Victoria is really going to have to take care of this in the future. “Can I please just go up to their floor and see if their door is unlocked?” He shakes his head, giving me a look I’m way too familiar with, silently asking if I’m crazy. “What can I do?” I ask. “Money? A date?” I look at his left hand. “No. Are you a fan of winter sports?” I’ll totally pull Skylar into this. “My cousin is a Winter Classics skier and her fiancé—” A large palm lands in front of my face. “Give me your name.” His fingers position on the keyboard. “Chelsea… Chelsea Walsh.” He types my name in, and I smile when he pulls a visitor badge out. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.” I take it from his hand and put it over my head. “If no one is up there, they have a drop box beside their door. You can leave your package there.” I thank him again and walk steadily to the elevators, dodging people desperate to start their weekend. I end up riding the elevator by myself to the thirty-third floor. The elevator doors ding open and I file out, my head swiveling right and then left. Spotting the door with Heiberman and Lipe Law Firm, I head over to it to find a list of the names of all the associates and thankfully there’s Bennett second from the top. Hold on Glen, I’m almost on my way. My hand pulls on the frosted glass door and it must be my lucky day because it opens. I step into the darkened reception area. Looking around, I find no one. Heading down a hallway, my eyes zero in on the names on the doors while peeking my head into vacant offices. Finally, after passing the conference room, I see the last name Bennett and peek my head inside to find it empty with the light on. Hopefully that means he’s in the bathroom or something. I pull out my cell phone, seeing Glen has messaged me back, but instead of responding to his I shoot one off to my boss Hannah. Me: Mr. Bennett isn’t here. Can I drop the envelope on his desk? Hannah as usual, replies instantly. Hannah: Sure. Just leave it somewhere he’ll see it first thing on Monday. Me: Got it. I drop my cell phone back into my purse and slowly walk across the room and place the envelope on the chair. As I straighten up, I notice a baseball sitting next to the keyboard like someone had been playing with it and just set it down. My jaw drops and my gaze scatters across every surface, spinning around investigating each piece of art, photos, anything I can find to tell me this isn’t… Then as though I hadn’t breathed the entire time I’ve been in this office, the smell of him hits my nostrils. The once familiar scent of the ocean breeze, his deodorant and fresh linen from his clothes. He never was a cologne guy. Other than a picture of a dog on the table behind his desk, it’s filled with baseball memorabilia of the Cubs. A die-hard Cub’s fan certificate is framed and on display, so others know he didn’t jump on the bandwagon two years ago when they won the World Series. It’s proof that his family has borne the Cubbie fever for generations. “Do you make it a habit of sneaking into people’s offices?” His voice is coy and flirtatious. I squeeze my eyes shut then grip the edge of the desk before my knees give out. Shivers run up and down my spine. Crazy train. All aboard! “You can at least show your face,” he says, continuing his usual play. “I promise I don’t bite.” “Unless I want you to.” I spin around, my knuckles white as they tighten on the edge of the desk. Now it’s his jaw that slackens as he realizes his ex-wife is standing in the middle of his office.Start the Series Today with Manic Monday!Amazon US I Amazon Universal I iBooks I Nook I Kobo I Google PlayAdd to GoodReadsGrab the prequel, Clean Slate, FREE!Amazon US I Amazon Universal I iBooks I Nook I KoboAbout Piper RaynePiper Rayne, or Piper and Rayne, whichever you prefer because we’re not one author, we’re two. Title: Cut Loose
Series: The Sublime
Author: Julia Wolf
Genre: Rom/Com
Francisca Rivera— call her Frannie, please— says what she means and takes what she wants. Six months ago, all it took was one look at James, the gorgeous, bearded man pouring drinks at her favorite bar, and she had to have him in her bed.
To say she had been disappointed would be the biggest understatement in the history of all understatements. James was a no good, very bad lay.
But there is just something about James' quiet, steady manner and the way he's always watching her at the bar— like she's something special— that keeps her wanting.
Frannie is wild and free with an aversion to relationships. James is soft-spoken and shy with a tendency to be reclusive. Can two opposites meet somewhere in the middle and take a second chance at their first time?
"This author has written a truly beautiful story, which is sweet, humorous and entertaining, and I was totally captivated throughout."-Wendy, Goodreads reviewer "Julia Wolf once again swept me off my feet in this adorably, sweet, and beautiful story. She makes me laugh, sigh, squeeze my thighs together, and swoon. All in one chapter. I'm so in love with this world and I truly never want to leave it. I can't wait for more from this author and this world!" -Julia at Red Hatter Book Blog "I fell in love with these characters and their story. What I love most about this entire series is the characters are all very relatable. Julia Wolf has a way of not just writing, but allowing you to easily visualize what is going...she draws you in to the story. I want to go to Bar Royal and hangout with everyone!"-Heather, Goodreads reviewer
"Julia lives in Maryland with her patient husband and three crazy beautiful kids. When she's not writing, momming, or watching Real Housewives, she's reading a book. Julia's a lover of all things romance. From sweet, to funny, to steamy, to so dirty you'll blushing for days, she reads (and writes!) it all."
Your Rhythm
-- EXCERPT: Matt’s still propped against the edge of the bar when I reach him. The crowd is thinner over here and I get a good look at him from a few feet away: sandy undercut hair and an angular face, softened by full lips and just the right amount of stubble. He’s got the perfect features to pull off his eyebrow piercing, and while they’re currently covered by a navy blue coat, all my internet stalking has proved he’s got the perfect arms to pull off the collection of tattoos on both. Eric the Surfer might have been hot in a general sense, but Matt Pearson is one hundred percent my type. Did I just admit someone in Sherbrooke Station is my type? “Hey,” I call sharply, hoping I can help myself deny that little revelation by acting annoyed with him. “Giving up that easy?” He gives me a cautious glance and then shifts his eyes from side to side, like he’s making sure I’m really talking to him. “On looking for me,” I elaborate. “I’m Kay Fischer.” Now his dark eyes travel up and down the length of me in a completely unapologetic stare. He smirks when they reach mine again.

Title: Stumbling Into Him
Author: Molly O'Hare
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: May 15, 2018
Red Hatter Book Blog - “Stumbling Into Him is pure perfection!”Rosa - “I have one warning though. Please be very cautious when reading this book as there will be a lot of laughing involved. This is a sweet romance and I highly recommend this book to all Rom-Com lovers.”Sara - “I was giggling and laughing out loud throughout the entire story of Stumbling Into Him.”
Holly has spent her whole life as a walking disaster, from running into walls, tripping over invisible objects, and always being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When a seemingly normal outing taking her overly opinionated Corgi for a walk resulted in an object to the face, she didn’t think her day could get any worse. The moment she opened her eyes and saw the Adonis standing over her, she knew she’d been wrong. It was about to get a whole lot worse.
Ben’s lived his whole life disobeying his uptight, self-centered, shrew of a mother. Instead of going into the family business, he followed his dreams and opened his veterinarian clinic. One ordinary day at the dog park, and a rogue dog toy later, he found himself captivated by the curvy woman that had a feistiness which set him on fire.
It could only get better from here, right? Too bad his mother had other plans.
Review:
If you like curvy heroines and sweet alpha heroes Stumbling Into Him is the perfect read for you! It was a sexy, sweet read with lots of funnies. I really loved Holly aka Grace. Her devotion to her father and her pet Corgi, Lord Waffles, was one of my favorite parts. Her compassion was a perfect match to Ben’s. I really loved them together. You also can’t help but love Ben. It was basically love at first frisbee hit for him—even with a bloody lip and a chipped tooth Holly drew him in. The attraction between them was off the charts! His love for animals and his drive to live his own life on his terms made him a perfect alpha hero. Molly’s mix of humor and romance made this an excellent read. I definitely recommend this book and will probably read it again. 5 stars!
Much like any author out there, sleeping does not come easy to Molly. As it turns out, she has horrible insomnia . When she was younger, to help herself fall asleep she would recite stories. Each night she’d pick up where the story left off previously until the tale was complete. One morning, after she finished a particularly fun adventure, she decided she wanted to start sharing them with others. A few months later, here she is, sharing her lack of sleep with all of you. Who says the stories in our heads can’t be fun for others?
Also, she loves Fun Facts. New ones are at the end of each of her book. If you look close enough, some are hidden on her website too.
