Love Between Enemies (Grad Night #2)
by Molly E. Lee Publication Date: January 8, 2018 Publisher: Entangled: Crus
About the Book
Zoey Handler is ready to put an end to her decade-long rivalry with Gordon Meyers. They’ve traded top spot between valedictorian and salutatorian for years, but all that’s over now. Right? But after a crazy graduation speech prank gets out of hand, suddenly their rivalry turns into all-out war. Time to make peace with a little friendly payback. Step one? Make him believe they’re now friends. Step two? Show him the time of his life at an epic graduation party. Step three? Don’t fall for his tricks. Step four? Absolutely, positively, do not kiss him again. So what if he’s cute? (Okay, hot.) So what if he’s charming? (Heaven help her, tempting.) So what if he apologizes? (That has to be fake.) She knows the real Gordon. And no matter how much her heart begs her to stop, there’s no turning back. Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains one epic party, complete with every high-schoolers-gone-bad shenanigan, and two rivals who discover maybe they could be something much more…if only they’d stop fighting long enough to notice it.

Inspiration To Your Writing: Whenever I sit down to write a new book, there are always several key things that have to happen. First, I crack open my notebook of the week (you can never have too many awesome notebooks in my opinion) and I jot down ideas. For Love Between Enemies it was a sleek black and white composition notebook, and I was lucky enough to already know my characters. Gordon and Zoey were introduced in Love in the Friend Zone, so I already had a good idea of their tone, I just had to find their voices. Second, I create a Pinterest board for inspiration. This is where I go nuts pinning pictures of who the characters look like, pictures of what the setting looks like, or a specific scene. I find outfits, props, recipes…anything to help me get a true visual feel of the world I’m aiming to create. Third, I create a playlist on Spotify. This is essential to my process. Music helps me get in the right mindset for different scenes, characters, and themes. It helps me narrow my focus to this one specific world I’m working on and allows me to creatively channel my characters. Once these things have happened, I begin to write. I continue to add to the boards, notebook, and playlist throughout the process, but it’s always good for me to have this base to go to if I’m feeling low on inspiration. I know every writer is different—some need the perfect snacks, drinks, or outdoor setting to get the words flowing. The key is finding what works for you and utilizing those tricks to enhance your process. I really am so grateful that this is my job, and these are the things I get to do daily!
