Review:
Wow, Just wow! I loved everything about this book. The writing was spot-on and flowed beautifully, making it a can’t-put-it-down read. The characters were the worst in the best way—total mean girls. The mystery was a total shocker. Just an incredible read. Penelope was a typical mean girl. She was beautiful, smart, an overachiever, and just plain snobby. It was like she couldn’t even help herself. However, she did have more class and morals than her friends, who were so much worse than her. I loved Cass. He was the quiet, kind of freaky guy with a dubious past. I honestly don’t know what he saw in Penelope, except their chemistry. He seemed really shady at times, was high on the suspect list, as was Penelope, and kept a lot of secrets close, which made him all the more likely as the suspect. I really liked the bits of being in the mind of the killer. Monica Murphy gives you casual hints inside this POV, driving you insane trying to figure out who it is! This person was really twisted. I can’t say enough about the writing. It drags you in and makes you feel a part of the story. There were a lot of sad parts, horrifying parts, suspense is of course nonstop. A really good and fun mystery read done perfectly.
5 Stars!!!
